A social dinner has been scheduled on the evening of Thursday 13th November. The cost of the dinner is $50CAD and the money will be collected at the meeting desk. You can pay cash or by cheque made to "ASOF-C" o "Simon Prinsenberg"
A block of rooms has been booked at:

The block will be available until October 11 at which time rooms not booked will be released.
The cost is $109.00/night from Nov 11th to 14th and is under Department of Fisheries and Oceans.

Transportation is arranged from downtown to BIO and return. The pick-up time is 8:30 in the lobby of Hotel Radisson Suite
Travel
The Halifax Stanfield International Airport has many connections to Europe and the United States.
There is an airport shuttle that stops at the Radisson Suite Hotel for those who wish to take the shuttle from the airport (about 50 minutes).
Taxis from airport to hotel are about $50CAD. The Airporter Inc. bus is $18CAD one way from airport to Halifax downtown (check shedule here)
